This microgrant provides funding to New Yorkers in order to assist resident-led groups in the development of community-building initiatives. Eligible applicants must reside in one of New York City's five boroughs, have a "community-oriented" group or project with two or more volunteers, not be profit-generating, nonprofits or grassroots volunteer groups, have a budget of less than $250,000, not be an affiliate or chapter of a larger organization, and not promote religious, political, or other ideologies...
